You can find one of the best run Greens Departments in Canadian golf industry at Thornhill Golf & Country Club. We are the leaders in environmental protection of the land and biodiversity conservation. Long before the term Environmental Conservation become fashionable we were implementing programs helping restore and protect biodiversity along Don River running through the property. Naturalised areas, IPM Program, perennial beds, bird nesting boxes, butterfly gardens were familiar features at Thornhill in late nineties. We are glad that we are not alone anymore and that scores of other golf courses followed the path have chosen years ago.
