The corporate investments and market plans are always well thought of.ย Usually the pay vs. pay off equation is seen well.ย Any new business proposal will be always calculated in terms of net profit/business that is likely to result in at the end of the day.ย Market survey to understand the business size, USP, promotional expenditure etc are collected and discussed threadbare before the venture.ย Most often, the calculations can go wrong as well.ย
To understand and forecast things better and prepare the employees to such level, may training activities are initiated in most corporate.ย The most favourate word โ�� SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat) analysis technique is taught to the employees during trainings.ย
Do you know, there are several birds, knew this technique?ย The investment vs. profit theory and theory of how to maximize the profit out of a given investment are well coded in the brain of many birds.ย
The clear knowledge about the economics of birds can be learned especially during the period of egg laying. Many birds lay different numbers of eggs and the number of egges in a given time point is called clutch size.ย The clutch size differs with different birds and also is governed by various ecological factors such as competition, food availability, temperature etc.ย ย ย
Many attempts were made to alter the clutch size artificially by removing or adding eggs to the nest were well recognized by the birds.ย When there was a less number than required, the birds were found to lay more eggs to compensate the loss and removed when there was an excess.ย When the birds incubate over the eggs, they invest their time and care and hence it is necessary to optimize the opportunity to produce more offspring.ย ย These birds are also wise not to accommodate more numbers as the required temperature for incubation of the eggs may not be possible to provide in uniform manner if the number of eggs were more and feeding the young ones is also difficult if more chicks were hatch out.ย
The shore birds and ground nesting birds seems to have relatively bigger clutch size than birds nest on tall trees.ย Similarly, birds in the cold region tend to have smaller clutch size due to the temperature demand for the eggs during incubation.ย
How wisely the birds decide the number of eggs depending upon the situation.ย This is what the entrepreneurs and corporate must learn.ย Before investing their resource, various micro factors need to be understood like how birds do during egg laying.ย Birds know the economics and investment management as well may be better than our economists. ย ย
