K10's peaceful time incubating the two eggs inhis Pelican Harbor nest on Santa Cruz Island is shattered when a large shadow goes over the nest. 40 seconds later, K10 becomes enraged, calling out at something overhead. Things seem to calm down for a couple minutes, when it starts up even more forceful than before. K10 jumps up and is vigilant in defending his nest and eggs! These eagles are part of the ongoing restoration project by IWS.
